While on your holiday in Kabale, you cannot miss out the beautiful scenic place of Lake Bunyonyi. A trip across the lake gives the opportunity to see local villages and a very colourful market culminating in a climb up the hill to visit the Pygmy village. A great experience with fantastic scenery illustrating what a beautiful place Uganda is. Lake Bunyonyi should be on your list of things to see and do if you are in the neighbourhood or in Kabale. You can stay on one of the Lake’s 29 islands but there is everything from primitive camping sites to 5 star resorts in and around the lake. Don’t hesitate to take a boat trip around the lake. There, you can see the Governor’s island which is a private nature reserve and spot zebras. You get off the boat on Leprosy Island and explore an old church before finally going around Punishment Island and learning its sad history. That night, you have an excellent meal at the Birds nest Resort.

All saints church visit. Located at the heart of Kabale town. All saints church with this magnificent church has a historical background that traces it with a grass thatched church that has steadily grown with a bigger number of believers that has encouraged them to build this church. You are welcome to this church.

You cannot miss going for gorilla trekking safari in Bwindi Forest National Park while on your holiday in Kabale. Gorilla trekking in Bwindi impenetrable forest that is a true African jungle. It is so called because the dense undergrowth, vines and other vegetation makes it almost impenetrable. The mysterious atmosphere is awesome. After an early breakfast and a briefing by a ranger guide, enter the gorilla sanctuary for your adventure. The beauty of this rain forest is spectacular. The area offers dramatic steeply forested landscape and is incredibly dense, but criss-crossed by numerous animal trails allowing access to tourists. The time taken and the terrain vary with the movements of these great primates. The thrill of spending time observing these gentle and endangered giants is an awesome, exciting experience to be long savoured. Many find it to be a rare and moving opportunity.

Edirisia is one of the quietest places I visited in Uganda. The organization is doing very friendly, nice with helpfully manager. The staffs are wonderful. The treks and canoeing in depth and if you stay you are allowed to take a canoe out on your own. Really, what could be better: gliding in hand made canoes, carved by artisans out of a single tree past little lake side villages with cheerful children and terraced farms reaching into the sky.

Supreme Adventure Park for kayaking and canoeing. It’s extremely beautiful, with great views from all over the island. The ropes course, zip line, canoeing, and hiking is so much fun. Totally recommend for a fun time or just relaxing at the lake.
